Rolls and Rolls

I know 10 years from now she will hate me for this, but check out these beautiful rolls!

5 Months

I'm 5 months old now and doing new things everyday. Last week I found my feet and I learned to roll to my tummy all in one day. I'm also laughing and talking more. I try to feed myself sometimes with my bottle, and I'm doing better eating my rice cereal. I had a great time 2 weeks ago when my grandparents came in from Boston and we were so busy going to St. James Art Fair, Hubers, etc. This weekend I was busy playing with cousins and seeing their horses, rabbits, etc., and today I went hiking at Bernheim forest.

First Camping Trip

This weekend Adele went on her first camping trip. We headed an hour away to General Butler State Park and met Jon, Jamie, the dogs, and "Rusty", their new 1979 RV with orange shag carpet. She enjoyed hiking and looking up at all the trees and that night was completely mesmerized by the campfire. The weather was absolutely perfect, not too hot, not too cold :)

Adele's Baptism

On Sat, Sept. 18th, Adele was baptized at Our Lady of Lourdes. She did great and we were so blessed to be surrounded by so many wonderful friends and family. Afterwards, the party spread to Mom and Dad's and we had a perfect night to eat and drink al fresco

4 Months

It's been a busy month and haven't had much time to post due to our robbery early this month, and the thieves taking our camera's and laptops. All have been replaced now, and the Iphone helped out while we were camera less. Miss Adele is up to around 15 lbs now. Getting bigger and having more of a personality everyday. Daycare is going good. A little boy named Carter held her hand when I picked her up last week. Also had my first case of pinkeye! She loves standing and bouncing in her excisaucer. She rolled from her back to stomach on the bed (with a slight dip). We set up the high chair and will probably try some rice cereal sometime this week. Hopefully that will also help her sleep longer at night. Spent Labor Day Weekend playing with Avery and we went to the International Festival and the zoo!

3 Months!

I turned the big 3 Months on Sunday. I'm continuing to grow, grow, grow. I like to smile and try to laugh a lot more, and am definitely more interested in playthings on my activity mat. Even started understanding peek a boo. Dad is still training me to be a great dancer, and I do a mean MC Hammer impression. I started Daycare this week and am doing great. I sleep well there and have lots of new friends to play with. My teachers think I'm adorable!

Boston Trip

Just got back from Adele's first trip to Boston and the Cape. We had a great time as usual and she got to meet SO many different family members. We ended up taking over 400 pictures, so these are only a small sample. She was a great traveler and slept almost through all the plane rides and slept the entire way to/from the Cape. She especially loved playing with her cousin Izzy and getting lots of good Grandma and Grandpa time in. It was amazing to see how she calmed down anytime she was around someone young when they were holding her. She got to wade in Great Pond which is where Dave learned to swim and we can't wait till next year when she's bigger and can do more swimming!
