Baby's First Christmas

Adele enjoyed her first Christmas. Didn't quite understand what was going on, but did like eating the bows and playing with new toys. The week before Christmas, Dave surprised me by taking her to see Santa and get her picture taken. Then Santa gave me a picture of it Christmas morning. Dave said she did great and was one of the few not to cry. She loved petting his beard and white fur cuffs. Christmas Eve we went over to Drew and Kristin's for dinner and then went to Christmas Eve mass that I was singing in choir with. Adele did great and played the first part, and slept the second. So many people to see and play with. We had a beautiful white Christmas to wake up to the next morning. It was the first time in a long time we had gotten to sleep in our own beds Christmas Eve. We enjoyed our family time together and then went to Mom and Dad's to celebrate some more with family. Adele got a lot more presents, as first grandchildren do, including a scoot toy and a red wagon, which she enjoyed riding around the house in. We can't wait till the weather gets warmer to take it outside. I think her favorite toy has been Violet, the leapster dog, who sings and talks with her, and is programmed to say her name and favorite food/color/animal. Here are just a few of the pics from that weekend.
