This weekend we took our first road trip to Owensboro for the Fitzmaurice wedding with all our friends from Madisonville. Adele did well and slept most of the time in the car and was easily pacified with her bottle when she woke up. Before the wedding we stopped by Camp Pennyroyal where I spent several summers as a camp counselor. It was so nice to be back but we were roasting in the 98 degree heat! Adele was a good girl and slept through the ceremony, cried nonstop on the way to the reception, and calmed down again at the reception. She had a blast dancing with her dad to some black eyed peas and of course "billie jean". She still loves water as seen by the happy face in the bath picture, and last night Dad turned her bib backwards to make her into a superhero!
